The Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL) has revised its inspection criteria and processes for dry van containers, known as "IICL 6", which was implemented on a worldwide basis on 1 August 2016.
IICL 6 is the result of work by the IICL Technical Committee (TC) to update and harmonize several inspection criteria and processes that had developed over recent years. Benefits of the IICL 6 standard include the simplification and efficiency improvement of procedures for container inspections performed at container depots around the world.
Visitors to IICL 6 site will learn about the new inspection criteria through the following NEW Inspection Overview Video, technical and measurement techniques bulletins.
Links to the IICL's publication tool store and to the annual IICL Container Inspector Certification Examination and Courses are also provided for your ready access.
