BUDAPEST - new railway hub in CEE.

The foundation stone for this green field project has been laid in October 2015 and terminal started full operation in January 2017. This location is the ideal interface between the seaports of Northern Europe and South-Eastern Europe. Metrans will use this new terminal to increase service level for existing Hungarian customers and also for greater presence in Hungary as well. Opening terminal in Budapest means further development of the METRANS hinterland network and improves connections to a key European growth region.
